Feeding DIrections
Shawnee 32% Catfish Food is a complete food. The total amount to feed will depend on the water temperature, stocking rate, amount of natural food in the pond, and feeding objective (maximum yield or recreational fishing). Offer no more food than will be readily consumed (within 15 to 20 minutes). The floating pellets will allow observation of feeding activity and condition of the fish, and enable adjustment of feeding rate for desired results. DO NOT OVER FEED. Catfish are cold-blooded animals that will not actively feed when water temperatures are below 55 oF. Uneaten food may support undesirable bacterial growth and will cause depletion of oxygen supply. An adequate supply of oxygen must be maintained.
